How many people do you help each week?

We help over 500 people with a hot, nutritious meal, and access to Counseling and Referral services.

Where does your food come from?

The majority of our food comes from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. The rest is donated by local stores, farms and individual donors.

What does running the Soup Kitchen cost?

It currently costs approximately $260,000 a year to run the Table of Hope.

Where do you get your money?

We are funded by individuals who are concerned about poverty in Morris County as well as foundations, government, corporations and churches.

What do you do other than serve meals?

We provide counseling and referral services, host on-site health services, as well as advocate on behalf of those we serve.

How big is your staff?

We have 1 full-time and 4 part-time employees.

Do you use volunteers?

Yes, 5-6 volunteers each day and they are lifeblood of our program. Individuals, as well as groups come from schools, corporations and churches.

Can I support your work?

Yes. Every donation – large or small – helps us meet the need.

Why do your mailings ask that I send my donation to 65 Spring Street instead of 59 Spring Street?

Donations are opened, recorded, and deposited by the Spring Street CDC, which is located next door to the church. Donations sent to either address will reach us just the same. We thank you for your support.
