Who We Are?

New Life R&R is a faith-based recovery ministry.  We offer a place where individuals can walk their New Life with other individuals who have walked a similar path. Our ministry consists of individuals with various addiction and dependency history; alcoholism, narcotics use, sex abuse, violence and various mental health struggles etc.

Our ministry has sponsors who will guide anyone willing to take the steps into their New Life.

How We Help

Referrals

For individuals in the beginning stages of living the New Life, we refer them to the appropriate facility and services; detox center, inpatient and outpatient treatment centers, shelters, mental health services and domestic violence agencies.

Steps to living a New Life, when clean and focused we can guide them to the appropriate services for; education, job placement and volunteer opportunities.

On Going Support

Once an individual is clean and ready to walk their New Life we provide on going support.

A confidential group setting using a faith-based 12-step program. These meetings are held weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7pm, in the fellowship hall of Bethel Church.

Family support upon request. Weekly or monthly meetings with a clergy person, counselor and/or sponsor.

Why do we want to help?

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” – Mark 12:31

No man or woman is without fault, we must be there to give each other a hand when needed. Too many times individuals have access to a recovery program but it is not on going. We are here to guide you.

We hold weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 7pm.  We work with area treatment facilities to refer and support individuals on their road to recovery. We have also held workshops and a statewide event educating the “first responders” (clergy, police, community agencies) on how to support and find resources for those suffering with various addictions. Our first symposium held, “Do No Harm” was held September 16, 2015 where over 200 individuals across the state of NJ participated, including our Lt. Governor.  This was a collaborative event with Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, Drug Enforcement Administration NJ Division and the Community Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Morris.
